Energy Efficient Options
When building/modifying your home the decisions you make determine the long term expenses of your home. Whether it is insulation, windows/doors, or heating systems, they all make a big difference in your homes efficiency. In this project we built an addition on a log home using new construction methods. This gave them the energy efficiency of new construction with the look of an authentic log home.
In a previous project we built a new home where we used icyene spray foam insulation with energy star windows and doors, along with a geo thermal heating system to reduce there energy expenses. The client burned approximatly 2 cord of firewood last year and only used 70 gallons of fuel to heat a 2600 sq. ft. home.
